I like attention, I need attention, and gaining such attention consumes much of my time. I'm a strong believer that showing people who you are helps you figure out who you are, and although I am a very outgoing person, being comfortable in my own skin and figuring out who I am is a very important part of psyche and life as a whole. Surprise! Surprise! I'm a writer. After all, can you think of a better thing for a bigmouth like me to do? When you commit your thoughts to paper, people are much more likely to listen to you and really try to understand what you are saying than when you say something in a conversation. I think it's because the formality of a written document, and the fact that it consumes more time makes people think that what you are talking about is worth noting.
Through writing, I enjoy the fruits of self-discovery. It helps me sort out my thoughts not just on what's happening to me, but what's happening around me. What I find fascinating about writing is how easy it can be to cloak the messages you want to get across in different forms - poetry, novels, and short stories can all be used as mediums. I write all three. Much of my work can be seen on this site. Please spread it around. Getting more readers is always nice. One of my most significant works is my fantasy novel, Anniqua, most of which is not published on the website. When it is, I'll be sure to let you guys know, but it will take me a while. I'm very much of a perfectionist. I've revised the first chapter at least 15 times, so you couldn't imagine how long everything else will take. I also like to sing and act. I love to be on stage, and have been on stage a lot. I recently played Anne Frank in the latest edition of The Diary of Anne Frank. When it comes to other interests, I am very intrigued by the following topics: books, history, politics, music, philosophy of any sort, website design, e-mail, instant messaging, parties, Broadway, plays, musicals, any other kind of show, TV, and movies. When it comes to physical activities, let me first tell you that I am physically inept and have no athletic ability whatsoever. With that said, there are three physical activities which I'm pretty decent at, the last listed being my physical forte, which really doesn't mean much coming from me, but that's OK- swimming, ice skating, and roller skating. As a singer and actress, I really appreciate good singers, plays and musicals. My favorite show to-date is probably Les Miz, but that might change because I really like The Diary of Anne Frank, too. My favorite singer is probably Sara Brightman, because she is always consistently good and always follows good technique, which is very rare in singers these days, especially in the pop arena.
