WHY SHOULD I BECOME A MEMBER?
While there are many things available
to the nonmember of my site, becoming a member gives you more options. When you become a member, you can experience some of
the many exclusive interactive activities on this site.

When you become a member, you will have access to chatrooms.

You will also be assigned a common room which, upon your logging in, will be on the menu. There you can learn about your common room.

As soon as members volunteer to be "Hogwarts" teachers, I will be able to give members live-action Hogwarts classrooms, and will provide teachers
a teacher's lounge (for teachers only)
and profile accessible to all readers. Teachers will be "grading" and creating their student's assignments. (One assignment is one multiple-choice, or yes-or-no, question.) Anyone interested in becoming a teacher should e-mail me telling me their user name (you must be a member, or at least have applied for membership), which teacher they'd like to be, and why. I will inform you as soon as possible whether you have
been selected.

I may appoint certain members to editorial positions on The Zine or The Seer or, more likely, a "column" of some sort. In case you don't know what I am talking about, let me explain. The Zine is an e-zine geared towards towards teenagers which discusses real-life topics, while The Seer contains articles relating to the fantasy world of Harry Potter.

Members are able to add their profiles to a Members' Directory. This
directory allows for you to meet new people, and establish correspondence
with them through e-mail or instant messanger. This opportunity is offered to members only.

HOW DO I JOIN?
Currently, my site does not require membership; it simply allows for it. With these settings, Moonfruit doesn't
allow me to directly ask you questions when you apply for membership. Thus, this is how I expect applicants to proceed until this
problem is corrected:

The first thing you should do is apply.
Click on the "Login to site" button. If you are already a member of Moonfruit, login. If not, click on the button which says "Create new account," and completely fill out the form that follows. Then, regardless of
whether you logged in or registered for Moonfruit, click on the
"Quick Join" button on the menu bar. A grey window will pop up. On this window is an orange button which says "Add site." Click on it.

Within the next 24 hours, you should send me an e-mail at wordsfromdaheart@netscape.net . Your e-mail should provide the username with which you registered and answers to the following questions. Those questions with a "#"
by them MUST be answered.

What is your first name and age? (#)

Do you live in the United States? If not, what country do you live in?

Do you want to be in a common room? If so, which one? (#)

Would you like to participate in Members' chats? If so, which EST times would be most convenient for you? (#)

What kinds of things are you interested in? What are your hobbies and/or talents? (#)

Do you like to write? If so, what genres do you compose; what topics do you write about? (#)

Are you interested in becoming a Hogwarts teacher? (#)

Are you interested in writing for the Zine or the Seer? (#)

Do you have any suggestions as to how I could improve my site?

Other than the methods already mentioned, are there any other ways in which you plan to contribute to this
site?

If I do not receive an e-mail like the one outlined within 48 hours of your initial application, I will not grant you membership. Likewise, if I do not approve of your application, I will not
grant you membership. Whether or not I approve you for membership, I will USUALLY e-mail you with an explanation. You will always be informed if you are approved foir membership. My discretion governs whether I inform those who are not granted membership.

WHERE SHOULD I GO IF I HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS INVOLVING MEMBERSHIP OR THIS SITE IN GENERAL?
If you have any questions or problems involving this site, e-mail me at wordsfromdaheart@netscape.net
