WHAT HE'S LIKE
We love Golly, but he isn't perfect. He is a bit over-friendly towards other dogs. We often have to pull him away
from big, growling dogs when we walk him in the park. He's a bit TOO trusting, but you've got to love him. He takes a lot of rough play, and we've yet to see him "snap", except on his stuffed animals. Then, he thinks he's the big man on campus. (heehee) It just depends on his mood. On the bad side, he tries to chase cars, and refuses to go outside during unpleasant weather and is not quite house-broken. But his loving nature makes up for everything. He's SO cute!
HOW WE GOT HIM
My siblings and I have always wanted a puppy. For years we begged my father for one, but the answer was always "no." Then, one day, my mom told us we should, if we really wanted a dog, research them, and then present our dad with an argument as to why we should get one. Lisa wrote a contract, which my siblings and I all signed, and I wrote a persuasive letter. To our surprise, my father agreed to get us a dog.
We looked all over for the perfect puppy, but my parents didn't approve of any of them. Finally, on Memorial Day Weekend, we found the perfect dog, Goliath (Golly).
