Here is a basic summation of what I want to do in my career life. (Please note that this is all tongue-and-cheek, and that I don't really expect to do ALL of these things. It's just a wonderful and ambitious dream.)
1) Write a Pulitzer Prize or Newberry Award winning novel.
2) Sell it to a movie producer equivalent to Steven Spielberg on the condition that I get to sing the theme song, and write the lyrics to that theme song.
3) Become a famous singer. Produce a few records. Write my own lyrics.
4) Write Broadway shows for which I could play a good part. Go off and on Broadway in various shows for periods of time.
5) Publish writing off and on for periods of time.
THERE! HAH! I have discovered a way I can use both my singing and writing talents, so having a career in which I use both is NOT impossible. (It's just not likely.)
